PU poured floor
Seamless, warm underfoot, with a calm matte finish

Floors
A floor determines how a floor plan is read. Without seams or joints, the space stays visually intact and attention goes to the architecture and the light.
Principles
A seamless floor is a composition of appearance and technique. The appearance is determined by tone, sheen and the amount of movement in the surface; the technique by the build-up beneath it.
Comfort plays a part that is often underestimated. A slightly elastic finish feels different underfoot from a hard mineral floor, and behaves differently in combination with underfloor heating.
Tone, sheen and the amount of movement determine how calm the surface reads.
Slightly elastic systems feel warmer than a hard mineral finish.
Cleaning is simple; periodic aftercare keeps the top layer intact.
Primer, levelling and intermediate layers are determined per substrate.
A living space, a wet room or an intensively used workspace each call for their own build-up.
We also install underfloor heating; the start-up protocol and cover above the pipes are agreed in advance.
Floor finishes
Every finish has its own look, its own build-up and its own behaviour in use. Below are the systems we apply most often.

Seamless, warm underfoot, with a calm matte finish

A mineral floor finish with a fine, living texture

Aggregate in a bound surface, ground to a single surface

Clouding and shadow in a closed mineral floor

Milled in or laid in a new screed, beneath the finish
Colour
A floor is the largest continuous surface in an interior. A tone that looks subtle on a sample becomes considerably more present over thirty square metres.
That is why we look at colour at full scale and under the lighting conditions of the room itself: in daylight, in artificial light and at the time of day the room is used most.
