During your visit
What we do together.
A visit takes about an hour. We work with full-scale samples, so that texture and sheen can be judged as they will appear in the room.
Viewing materials
Floor and wall finishes side by side, with fabrics and profiles for windows and doors.
Feeling textures
Tactility cannot be photographed. At full scale the difference is immediately clear.
Comparing colours
Judging tones under changing light, rather than on a small sample.
Putting combinations together
Laying floor, wall and adjoining materials side by side.
Technical advice
Going through the substrate, build-up and junctions for your situation.
Discussing the project
Schedule, order of execution and coordination with other parties.
Preparation
Useful to bring along.
Floor plans or photos of the space help to get to the heart of the matter quickly. Samples of materials that have already been chosen — a kitchen front, a natural stone, a type of wood — are valuable too.
Is the design not yet fixed? Then a visit is all the more useful: the choice of material affects the build-up, and that is easier to take into account at an early stage.
