Terrazzo Fine
floor · satin · mineral
Fine aggregate in a bound surface, ground to a closed finish with visible grain.

Floors
Poured terrazzo combines a seamless surface with the character of natural stone. The aggregate is mixed into the material and ground after curing, revealing the grain in the surface.
Overview
The composition determines the look: the colour of the binder, the type of stone and the grain size. A fine aggregate gives a calm surface that reads as a single tone from a distance; a coarser aggregate makes the floor more outspoken.
After pouring, the floor is ground and sealed in several stages. The sheen is determined by the final grinding step and the chosen impregnation.
Because terrazzo is a heavy build-up, the structure is assessed in advance. In renovations a thinner variant is possible, matched to the load-bearing capacity of the existing floor.

Applications
Values are indicative. The final specification is determined per project, based on the situation on site, the intended use and the choices made.
