Textile Wallcovering
wallcovering · matte · tactile
Woven textile on the wall. Tangible in texture and noticeable in the acoustics of a room.

Walls
A wallcovering brings material to the wall that you not only see but also hear. Textile and fibre dampen the sound in a room and give a warmth that a mineral finish does not have.
Overview
The range runs from woven textiles and natural fibres to layered papers and designs from specialist publishers. The choice determines the tactility, the light reflection and the acoustic behaviour of the room.
Installation calls for an even, closed substrate. Lengths are laid out so that seams fall outside the sight lines and the pattern continues around corners where possible.
For niches, door surrounds and fitted wardrobes, a layout plan is made in advance, so that the division is deliberate rather than accidental.

Applications
Values are indicative. The final specification is determined per project, based on the situation on site, the intended use and the choices made.
