Poured Floor Naturel
floor · matte · smooth
A warm sand tone with a completely even surface. Takes in daylight calmly and keeps the floor plan uninterrupted.

Stairs
A staircase in poured floor or microcement has no joints, no visible break between tread and riser and no edges in another material. It reads as a folded surface rising from the floor.
Overview
The finish is applied over the existing treads and risers, including the nosings and the sides. On the vertical faces and the nosings it is trowelled on in the same colour as the treads, so the look stays seamless. When the floor below is done in the same material, the surface continues without a break up to the top tread.
Microcement is a thin, trowel-applied layer with a fine, lively texture. A poured floor is somewhat more even in appearance. Which of the two is right depends on the floor that is already there or is planned.
The substrate determines the result. A wooden staircase that moves is made sound first, so that the finish does not crack. The top coat is matched to the use, with attention to grip on the treads.
