About this project
Mineral wall finishes in a slightly broken white, combined with a poured floor that leaves the long sight lines of the house uninterrupted.
The brief was to keep the choice of materials as restrained as possible. The interior works with few colours and a lot of daylight; the finish had to support that rather than work against it.
All vertical surfaces have a mineral wall finish with a fine grain. The surface diffuses light, so the transition between wall and ceiling stays soft. In the hallway the same finish was applied in a slightly deeper tone to mark the passage to the living area.
The floor is a poured floor across the entire ground floor, including the internal storage room. Because the underfloor heating was started up gradually after curing, the build-up has remained free of stress.
