Venetian blinds
A venetian blind consists of horizontal slats that tilt together. Turning them a few degrees steers the light: towards the ceiling, diagonally into the room, or away altogether.
Overview
Horizontal slats in aluminium or wood
Aluminium venetian blinds are slim and crisp, in many colours and several slat widths. Narrow slats read as a fine texture in front of the window; wide slats give a pronounced play of lines. They can also be mounted on the window sash, so that the window opens freely.
Wooden venetian blinds bring a warm, natural material to the window. The cords and ladder tapes are matched to the colour of the wood, so that the blind looks calm.
A venetian blind can be raised completely to clear the window, or stay at any height with the slats at the angle you want.
