Microcement on the wall makes it possible to finish floor, wall and built-in elements in the same material. Rooms are then read as a single volume.
Overview
A continuous mineral finish from floor to wall
The finish is trowelled and sanded in thin layers, after which a sealant closes the surface. In wet rooms a waterproof layer is applied beneath the finish, so a bathroom can be made without tiles and without joints.
Because floor and wall can be finished in the same material, the horizontal line between them disappears. This works especially well in compact rooms, which then appear larger.
Built-in niches, benches and vanity tops can be included in the same finish, provided the substrate has been built up suitably.
